Terms of Service Overview
This overview summarizes the Terms of Service for the “Platform,” meaning any Aayo App website, mobile application, or service.
The full Terms of Service constitute the legally binding agreement and include information about automatic subscription renewals, limitations of liability, dispute resolution through arbitration, and a class‑action waiver to the extent permitted by Indian law. [1] [2] [3]
- By using the Platform, there is agreement to these Terms of Service, forming a legally binding agreement with Aayo App.[4]
- If rules are broken, accounts may be suspended or terminated pursuant to these Terms and applicable Indian laws.[5][4]
- Certain features are paid and may auto‑renew unless auto‑renewal is disabled or the subscription is cancelled; India e‑commerce duties around transparency, refund timelines, and grievance handling apply when the app targets Indian consumers.[2][6][7]
Your Relationship with Aayo App
- Using the Platform signifies agreement to these Terms of Service between the user and Aayo App. If terms are breached, Aayo App may suspend or terminate the account. Certain Platform aspects are paid and may be billed on a recurring basis unless auto‑renewal is disabled.[8][4]
Aayo App Groups, Organizers, and Members
- Organizers may set group membership criteria; not every group suits every member, and members may start new groups. Organizers may charge fees for memberships or events subject to applicable consumer and e‑commerce obligations in India (pricing transparency, refund timelines).[6][2]
- Use of the Platform may involve meeting people in the real world; Aayo App cannot control real‑world interactions and encourages common sense and good judgment.[4]
Your Content and Content of Others
- Users are responsible for “Content” posted to the Platform and must comply with these Terms and referenced policies. Aayo App does not own user Content, but requires a license to operate, improve, promote, and protect the Platform.[4]
- Aayo App generally does not review Content prior to posting and is not responsible for member posts or communications; users may report Content that violates these Terms.[4]
Our Platform
- Aayo App strives for availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service and may modify or discontinue portions of the Platform. By using the Platform, there is agreement to the liability limitations and dispute resolution terms described below (subject to Indian law).[5][4]
- If Indian law grants different or additional rights and obligations, those will apply as required (e.g., DPDP rights, e‑commerce refunds, consumer remedies).[1][2][6]

- The “Platform” means any website, application, or service offered by Aayo App. The “Agreement” includes these Terms of Service and the referenced Usage and Content Policies, Groups and Events Policies, Organizer and Leadership Standards, Member Restrictions, Payment Policies, Trademark Usage Guidelines, and API License Terms. Using the Platform signifies acceptance. If used on behalf of an organization, the user represents authority to bind that organization.[4]
- Revisions: Aayo App may modify these Terms by publishing a new version with a revised date and, for material changes, by additional notice (email/in‑app). Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance; otherwise, accounts may be closed.[4]
Your Account and Membership
- Eligibility: The Platform is available to individuals aged 18+. Organizers may set additional eligibility criteria for specific groups or events.[4]
- Modification/Suspension/Termination: Aayo App may modify, suspend, or terminate accounts or access for violations of this Agreement, to protect the community or brand, or under applicable law, with reasons provided. Moderators may also control access within their managed areas. Queries may be sent to policy@aayoapp.com.[4]
- Account Security: Keep account information current; safeguard credentials and use strong, unique passwords. Report unauthorized access to abuse@aayoapp.com. Users are responsible for activity resulting from failing to protect credentials.[4]
- License: Subject to compliance, Aayo App grants a limited, non‑exclusive, revocable, non‑transferable, non‑sublicensable right to use the Platform features made available.[4]
Fees, Payments, and Offers
- Aayo App Fees: Some features are free; others are paid. Fees may change with prior notice. Unless stated otherwise, fees are charged in Indian Rupees for India users and may include applicable taxes. Organizer subscriptions are non‑transferable. Indian consumers may have statutory refund rights and chargeback rights under applicable laws and card network rules; auto‑renewal terms will be disclosed upfront per e‑commerce guidelines.[2][6][8]
- Organizer Fees: Organizers may charge member or event fees. Aayo App may initiate refunds in appropriate cases consistent with Payment Policies. Payments processed via third‑party providers are subject to those providers’ terms. Recurring fees may apply; auto‑renewal can be cancelled any time.[6][4]
- Payments to Aayo App: Organizers must pay subscriptions and other fees on time via approved methods. Lapsed subscriptions may lead to removal as organizer and termination or transfer of groups. Fees paid may be non‑refundable if accounts are terminated for violations; app store purchases follow store terms.[4]
- Automatic Renewals: Where applicable, recurring fees are paid in advance; billing continues each renewal until cancellation, with refunds per the Subscription Refund Policy and Indian refund rules that may mandate specific timelines to credit consumer accounts.[8][6]
- Free Trials: Trial length, renewal period, and first payment amount will be disclosed. After a trial ends, billing begins and renews automatically until cancellation. Statutory cooling‑off or refund rights, if any, will be honored as per Indian consumer law when applicable.[2][6]
- Third‑Party Payment Processors/Invoices: Organizers using Platform payments must comply with the processor’s terms. Aayo App is not a party to those contracts and not liable for their use. Third‑party invoicing may be used for tax compliance.[4]
Your Content and Privacy
- Responsibility for Content: Users are responsible for Content they post or provide to Aayo App and warrant necessary rights; Content must not include others’ confidential information or violate rights or laws. Content must comply with the referenced policies.[4]
- License to Aayo App: Users grant Aayo App a non‑exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty‑free, sub licensable, transferable license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, publish, display, perform, distribute, and create derivative works of the Content, and to commercialize associated IP and database rights as needed to operate and improve the Platform. This license survives account closure.[4]
- India Privacy (DPDP Act): Aayo App collects and processes personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including duties of data fiduciaries (purpose limitation, data minimization, security safeguards, data principal rights to access/correct/erase, consent withdrawal, children’s verifiable consent, breach notification to the Data Protection Board as required) and clear, accessible privacy notices in English or an Indian language per the Eighth Schedule. See the Privacy Policy for details and contact information to exercise rights.[9][10][1]
Use of the Platform
- Policies/Laws: Users must follow all Platform policies and applicable laws and must not violate third‑party rights. Certain areas/features may have Additional Terms which will govern in case of conflict with these Terms.[4]
- Content of Others: Aayo App is not responsible for member Content but may investigate and take action upon awareness of inappropriate Content.[4]
- Interactions: Aayo App is not a party to offline arrangements and does not conduct background checks. Use judgment when interacting on or off Platform; report concerns to abuse@aayoapp.com.[4]
- Prohibited Uses: No copying, modifying, distributing, reverse engineering, or reselling the Platform unless permitted. Do not collect personal data beyond what is required for group/event administration; do not collect sensitive identifiers (e.g., Aadhaar numbers) via the Platform; comply with export controls and sanctions. API use must follow API License Terms.[11][4]
- Safety/Security and Data Handling: No scraping or activities that disrupt or burden the Platform. Personal data collected must be processed lawfully with notices/consents where required, safeguarded, and deleted when no longer necessary or upon Aayo App’s request, and deletions should be certified. Grievance redressal and takedown procedures will follow India’s e‑commerce rules and IT practices where applicable.[6][2]
- Modifications and Third‑Party Services: Aayo App may modify or discontinue Platform features without liability. The Platform integrates third‑party services (e.g., maps, payments) governed by their own terms; Aayo App is not responsible for those services or content.[4]
Release
- To the extent permitted by applicable Indian law, users release Aayo App and its affiliates from claims arising from transactions with third parties, member interactions, or group/events participation, and release organizers from claims based on organizer negligence related to their Content, groups, or events. Nothing here limits non‑waivable consumer rights under Indian law.[5][6]
Indemnification
- To the extent permitted by law, users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Aayo App and its affiliates from claims arising out of violations of this Agreement, misuse of the Platform, user Content, violations of law/rights of others, or participation in groups/events that violates this Agreement. Users agree to promptly notify, cooperate, and not settle claims without prior written consent.[4]
Warranty Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
- The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by Indian law. Aayo App disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness, and non‑infringement where permitted.[5][4]
- To the extent permitted by law, Aayo App’s total liability is limited to the greater of INR 8,000 (approx. USD 100) or the fees paid to Aayo App in the 12 months preceding the claim. This does not limit liability for gross negligence, fraud, or willful misconduct, or for liabilities that cannot be limited under Indian law (e.g., certain consumer remedies).[5]
Dispute Resolution (India‑focused)
- Informal Resolution: Parties will attempt to resolve disputes through good‑faith discussions after written notice; if unresolved within 30 business days, claims may proceed per this section.[5]
- Arbitration: Except where prohibited, disputes will be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and the applicable institutional rules (e.g., MCIA Rules) by a sole arbitrator appointed per those rules. Seat and venue: [Mumbai/Pune/New Delhi—choose one]; language: English. The award may be enforced by competent courts in India. Each party bears its own costs, and the arbitrator may award costs per the rules and law.[12][13][14]
- Consumer Remedies: Nothing restricts statutory rights to approach consumer forums under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 where applicable; any class or representative action waiver applies only to the extent permitted by Indian law, which currently does not recognize US‑style class actions in consumer fora but allows representative complaints by consumer associations.[2][5]
- Governing Law and Courts: This Agreement is governed by the laws of India. Subject to arbitration, the courts at [Mumbai/New Delhi/Bengaluru—choose one] will have exclusive jurisdiction for permitted proceedings and for interim relief under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.[14][5]
